PASSAGE 2           SURA AL ANAAM          6:101-102-103
TRANSLATION
BISMILLAH ARREHMAN ARRAHIM
101.    To Him is due the primal origin of the heavens and the earth: How can He have a son when He has no consort? He created all things, and He has full knowledge of all things.
102.    That is Allah, your Lord! There is no god but He, the Creator of all things: then worship Him: and He has power to dispose of all affairs
103.    No vision can grasp Him, but His grasp is over all vision: He is above all comprehension, yet He is acquainted with all things.

TEACHINGS
(a)            The main theme of this passage is Tauheed or oneness of Allah. This passage of Sura Al Anaam teaches us that Allah is the original creator of the heavens and the earth which was a very difficult task. Comparing to this, It was not difficult for Him to create Jesus without father. Only He knows the purpose of creating everything. Since Allah is the creator, man should worship only one Allah and must not make any partners with Him. Allah is so powerful that everything is in His perfect knowledge but there is no eye or a mind that can see or comprehend Allah.
“He does not beget, nor is He begotten” (Al ikhlas)

(b)             This passage of Sura Al Anaam is very important for a Muslim in today’s life. Belief in Tauheed makes a Muslim free of other slaveries. A Muslim believes that Allah has knowledge of everything. He believes in his destiny and knows it very well that every good and every bad comes only from Allah. Only Allah has the power to dispose the affairs of his life and Allah will do only good with him. A Muslim takes his best decision and leaves the result to Allah because he knows that the knowledge of Allah is perfect. For this reason, he never involves in Shirk.
“Adore not the sun and the moon, but adore Allah who created them, if it is Him you wish to serve”. (Al Fussilat-37)
