TEACHINGS
(a)             Sura Al Fatihah is the first Sura of the holy Quran. This Sura shows us the relationship between Allah and human beings. The Sura presents the three most important themes of the Quran that is Tauheed, the Day of Judgment and prophethood. Allah is merciful towards all His creation and also towards human beings.
“Behold! Verily Allah is He, the oft-forgiving, the most Merciful”.       [42:5]
Every Muslim should have a firm belief that they are answerable to Allah on the Day of Judgment. Tauheed demands that we should submit our life only to Allah and ask help only from Allah. We should pray that Allah show us the way of the prophets and pious people and not of those who face the anger of Allah or who could not not understand Islam and followed the wrong way.

 (b)    We learn many important lessons from this Sura. We should start every good work in the name of Allah that is with “Bismillah”. In every matter of life we should be grateful to Allah because Allah does everything for our benefit and He is very kind towards us. We should always remember that we are answerable to Allah for our deeds. We must depend on Allah in every matter of life and we should seek only His help. We should pray that Allah keep us to the straight path; the path of the holy Prophet Mohammad (saw). We should also pray that Satan should not drag us to his path.

“The Satan made them slip from there, and got them out of
what they had been in”.                               [Al Baqarah-36]
